Why do you encrypt your programs with Source Guardian?

We are sorry to say that the answer is, "No".
In the past we have released our programs to people so they could "tweak" the code, only to find that they replaced our copyright notice with one of their own and started to distribute it as their own program.
It is a shame that a few dishonest people force us to protect our intellectual work in this way, but that is the way it is.

My hosting service told me that they do not support Source Guardian. Can you help me?
Cornerstone Designs has no cotrol over the different hosting services, so there is nothing that we can do to help you.
What you can do: You can find a different hosting service who is more responsive to your needs and wants.

There is no file named "GuestBook_config.php" in my guestbook directory. What happened?
There was an error in the installation instructions (the error has now been corrected).
Look in your sites root directory. You will find "GuestBook_config.php" there.
Move "GuestBook_config.php" to your guestbook's directory.

I want to have a web site, but I do not know what I want to have a web site about. Can you help?
Deciding what you want your web site to be about is perhaps the hardest decision you will make about your web site.
Do you have a hobby that you could make a web site about (something like collecting comic books, or coins, or stick pins)? Many people start out with a web site about, and for, their family. A place where family members can share photographs, a description of their last vacation, etc. Of course if you have a business, the decision is much easier
What you want to remember is that as your web mastering abilities grow you, like many others, will see your web site evolve into something other than you started with. The important thing is to get a web site started and go from there.

How do you make a web page work at different screen resolutions so there is no horizontal scrolling?
You use nested tables.
Your main table (or container table) should have a width defined as 100%. The container table should have, at least, 3 rows. This container table is where you would put a row that has anything that need to be stretched or shrunk (like header where your title and logo are (top row), and your footer where a copyright notice would go (bottom row)).
Now you nest another table in your container table (middle row). This nested table will have a width defined in pixels rather than percent. It is important that the width of this nested table is a little smaller than the space allowed for an 800x600 screen resolution (try 770).
It is also important to remember that the nested table can have multiple columns and rows.

Why do you encrypt your programs with Source Guardian?
Because we got tired of dishonest people downloading our programs and replacing our copyright notice with one of their own, then offering our program for download as their own.
They were, in effect, stealing our intellectual property and encryption was the only effective way to prevent it.
